Predators (R) -
In the original flick, a lone Predator came to earth to hunt humans for sport. Arnold Schwarzennegar played a super soldier who fought off the malicious alien with the help of an ultra-equiped military squad. In Robert Rodriguez’s new version eight mercenaries, convicts, and elite fighters are abducted and dropped onto a foreign planet. Their first assumption – that they are there to do the hunting - turns out to be wrong. The truth, they soon learn, is that they’ve landed on a game preserve and they are game. Starring:

Why see it? Robert Rodriguez (Sin City) has been writing the script since 1994 in an effort to make it as good of a sequel as James Cameron’s “Aliens” was to Ridley Scott’s original
Who should see it? Guys who need a movie to take their ladies to in order to get back at them for being dragged to see the new Twilight.
Despicable Me (PG) -
This animated flick follows despicable Gru, and evil super-villain who is constantly competing with his archrival to pull of a bigger, more evil heist. With the help of his army of minions Gru’s latest plan is to steal the moon. But will three little orphaned girls who sneak into his underground laier and adopt him as their new father sabotage his plans?

Pros: The animated sequences are second to none.
Cons: It might be a little too childish for the older action lovers out there.
Why see it? It has the voices of nearly every decent comedian in Hollywood today.
Who should see it? Anyone who appreciates a little light hearted, PG humour.
