Landon Donovan and Team USA lost their match on Saturday’s World Cup match against Ghana. The tough loss for Team USA came after a lucky tie against England that allowed them to keep playing until they met their match. The game against the African nation was long one: it went into overtime after being tied 1 all. Ghana scored an amazing goal towards the end of the match and the refs blew the whistle ending the game at 2 to 1 Ghana. It’s a tough loss for Donovan and the rest of the team who were defeated by the same nation just four years ago in the 2006 World Cup.
