- Sunscreen – Leather bags are hot. Your face as a leather bag? Not so much. Reapply sunscreen every hour or whenever you take a dip, using a generous amount (experts recommend an egg-sized dollop of product) each time. New spray sunscreens make protection even easier to obtain – just make sure to spray evenly and cover your whole body when applying. Anything below SPF 15 is about as effective as light cigarettes while quitting smoking, so make sure to keep those numbers high. Some favorites:
